This refined and delicate instrument, derived from the oud and the lute, prized in England and France between the 16th and 18th centuries, then fell into disuse due to the success of the violin and the cello, is presented to us in three voices. They make us discover the history and the exceptional craftsmanship of this stringed instrument.
